Brief description and characteristics of mechanism:

2) deposit among Zinc powder particles to fill out the sew of dyestuff but not conduct, thus it play a role in sealing the coating layer; shielding effect: since scaly Zinc powder is ranged parallel to coating film surface and folds and crosses each other, thus it expands the distance of coating layer :penetrated by water and erosion media and enhances the anti-corrosive capability of coating layer.
Component and performances of coating with Zinc flake:
Mingled with various resins, scaly Zinc powder can be produced into Zinc-rich primer such as ethyl orthosilicate, epoxy ester, epoxy and polyurethane, etc. Considering construction, even Zinc flake contain in this formulation is less than common Zinc powder primer, it can not reduce its anti-corrosive capability, in formulation of water-borne Zinc-rich primer, adds other anti-corrosive dyestuff and flake dyestuff such as micaceous iron oxide, micaceous powder, etc, which can not only reduce the usage quantity of scaly Zinc powder but also has the compound anti-corrosive effect. water-borne coating containing Zinc flake can be used for coating or primer, which increases largely its anti-corrosive performance.
