Chemical properties: insoluble in water, soluble in acid and alkali, lowly soluble in acetic acid, ammonia water, it has strong reducing performance and give out hydrogen. Lumps when being wet, keeps stable in dry air and generates white basic carbonate covering in its surface in wet air. When combusting in the air, it can generate blue green flame and generate Zinc Oxide. High pure Zinc act slowly with sulfuric acid and nitric acid, while act fast when it contains few of other metals such as steel, tin and lead.

Water-borne inorganic Zinc-rich primer, inorganic Zinc Silicate shopprime, inorganic Zinc Silicate of rust, Sigmacover Zinc primer, Fluorocarbon paint, etc.
Production of Zinc Anti-corrosive Coating: Zinc is to use for corrosion-proof of steel & iron parts, the methods of coating include heat plating, electric plating, heat-spray coating, Zinc-rich coating, powder plating, etc, among which, heat plating is the most important method. Zinc-rich coating is mainly used for coating those large-sized parts that can't use heat plating and electric plating such as large-size outside steel construction (ocean project, bridge, pipe, high way barrier, etc), ship and container. According to the different binder, Zinc-rich coating can be classified into organic Zinc-rich coating and inorganic Zinc-rich coating. Organic Zinc-rich coating usually used epoxy ester, epoxy resin, chlorinated rubber, ethylene series resin and polyurethane as binder; Contain of Zinc powder in dry film can reach 85%-92%. inorganic zinc-rich painting us water borne/lithium silicate, water borne potassium silicate, metasilicic acid ethylene or cement flurry as basic materials, its contain in dry film can reach 92%. The average particle diameter of zinc powder used for coating is 01-4mm, the powder can distribute at narrow particle level with good dispersion.

The highly active Zinc powder produced by our company has some characteristics of high contain of Zinc, low impurity elements, smooth surface, large surface area, small density of loose-powder, little oxide on surface, melting deformation and little grape shaped particles after sticking, average particle diameter is 0.1-4μm, total Zinc contain is more than 98.5%, metal Zinc contain is more than 96%.

Package and storage:
Package: it can be packed in plastic bag putting inside iron barrel (50KG/barrel)
special package: 0.5T, 1T in barrel, 0.5T, IT, 2T in weaved bag.
Storage: Zinc powder (it is easy to wet and turn into lump), it should be stored in vacillated, dry and fire-proof storeroom.
